Kulliyāt-e Maktubāt-e Sir Syed (Complete collection of letters written & received by Sir Syed) is a compilation of six volumes (4 in Urdu and 2 in English) and captures 1774 letters of Sir Syed. As the language used by Sir Syed was primarily Urdu, 1301 letters are in Urdu, followed by 449 in English and 24 in Persian.

Sir Ziauddin Ahmad (1873 – 1947) was a great mathematician and educationist. He was related to MAO College and Aligarh Muslim University. His travelogue of Germany is historically the first among the travelogues of Germany written in Urdu. He has not only analysed the concept of education and teaching methods of Europe, especially Germany, in the context of the Indian concept of education and teaching methods but also tried to determine their beauty and success in the light of his deep experiences and observations. Dr. Shams Badayuni has introduced his extensive services through case studies and anecdotes. An attempt has also been made to understand and explain the distinctions of Sir Ziauddin Ahmed in education through these travelogues and articles. In the arrangement of these texts, he also kept in mind all the principles of editing, which confirmed the research status of the book.

DR SHAMS BADAYUNI is a renowned researcher and critic. He has completed the four-decade of his authorship and compilation journey. During this time, 24 books of his have been published. His subjects have been Sir Syed, Ghalib, Shibli, Badaun, Poetry, etc. He has reduced the traditional burden of research through his style, method of presentation and validation, making his study lynchpin and easy. His writings are read with interest. He is a businessman by profession and has been writing and calling himself a part-time writer, but his pen is still flowing fresh.
